I've seen a lot of people debating what the best possible build for a PPC Atlas is, and I thought I'd put in my two entries. Note-the ERPPC version is just a variant of the Singularity style created by Staffan. EDIT; I wasn't originally planning to do the ERPPC variant, but I had already posted the topic, and I decided to just post it here instead of making a new thread for what was essentially a rip-off.
I disagree with your title, a zombie mech is one that can still fight with its arms blown off, the best example of this are the Centurions, in these builds, having all your weapons in your arms just makes it easy to make the mech a non combatant by blowing off both the arms. I think both of these builds are very poor.
You can go zombie in it. Just type pew pew pew when your arms are blown off. Hopefully your enemy will laugh, thus dropping his guard which gets himself killed by one of your allies.
zombie actually implies STD engine and weapons stored CT or head, so you can fight with only leg(s) ct and head remaining.
Yeah, I realized the zombie name was misleading, but only after I posted the topic. Dustwalker; probably not. EDIT; I thought about the feedback for a while, then I took another shot at making a fast zombie using an Awesome 8Q, so if you could spare the time, check it out and tell me what you think.
Given the heat problems that this build must have with the new heat system, I have to give it 1 star, apologies. sure you could go 2x erppc and 2xppc but thats gonna be fixed soon too
eh, not rly. The heat scale allows 2 PPCs and 2 ERPPCs to alpha without penalty. To my understanding they dont affect each other and should be able to alpha just fine.
Verbosity is referring to the July 30th Patch which will put PPC's and ER PPC's into the same category. Therefore you will only be able to fire a maximum of 2 of either without incurring the heat penalty.
