UAC5 and SRMs for the upclose and personal feel and MLas for some scalpel work. This left me with two Energy Hardpoints and going with 2 more MLas felt not powerful enough, but I did not want another weapon with a varied range... so I picked the LPLas to be paired with the MLas due to having basically the same optimum range. The result is a very nasty Atlas and while the UAC jam *might* be annoying, due to the fact that you have the other torso spitting out SRMs and your Lasers, which I all run on chain fire unless I want to alpha, you leave your target no real downtime from the onslaught.
What people don't realize is that your SRM's and LPL are more damaging to them than the UAC5. And I love that of these kinds of brawler builds. 5-5 stars.
Thanks Vergere! Took me so many hours to get the Atlai down but I am very happy with the designs I managed to come up with. And yea, the main damage output is not the UAC; it is meant as a long range harasser/supressor or for the "oh shit what is this Atlas fireing at me?!" moments when it spits out every .5 seconds while the main weapons lay down the hurt.
