Best C-bill grinder (Hero) mech

Well, the HBR-Prime preorder/ala carte mech counts as a hero with the 30% bonus

 

I haven't played all of the heroes I own yet. I've had some decent matches in the PB, but nothing near 500k.

I think there are several that are pretty good for high scores. I think most of the assaults probably fit the bill...with the exception of the bigger PB. Something that can rip components off with regularity (meaning gauss/ac20 and about 30 damage worth of lasers) is going to be good.

Things that can sustain high DPS with ballistics are good, too, as are LRM boats.

If I was trying to make money, I would have a lot to choose from.

What build was that PB using to get 509k XP?

 

Very simple build. My memory is faulty it was almost 520K...

 

I currently have a JR7-K with 4xMPL in my drop deck, I'm considering replacing it with my PB to get hero bonus and 15 tons.

 

I know I have really good luck C-Bill farming with my TDK. I have never really looked int the PB but with it running the same weapons, ecm, and being almost as fast I might just have to get it.
I will agree though that even in a bad match the lights will normaly rake in about 300K+.

 

Well a fair amount of getting cbills is winning, so gotta nod to the mechs you can get victories in. Whatever class you're comfortable in, that pulls its weight.

Well tbh the other team were really nice and congratulating me etc after I solo took down their last 4. It was just one of those improbably matches that kept everyone sitting there till the death watching, then as soon as I killed the last one the chat filled up with comments. Of course my own side except two people had long gone so never even realised we'd won.

 

TDK has more maneuverable weapons and can take a lot bigger hits than the Locust. But yeah, it doesn't have ECM...
