In my haste to try out the new Mech, i landed with the least attractive one, so after a few tests, i tried out a configuration i use for one of my Trebuchets (Though the Treb has both guns in the torso sides.)

How to have fun: Find a competent Heavy or Assault and escort him, keep lights away and use him as shield, you are small anyway.

The AC and ER-PPC work very well in tandem, alternating fire. The Small Lasers lend a bit of extra punch against lights, when the 2 big guns cycle. With 45 shots you dont have to hold back, though you might want to favor the Energy weapon in longer fights.
Should you run hot, use the AC, and wait to cool, though with bit of firing discipline you should not overheat at all.

Editorial: The 220er Engine is what i had at Hand.

If you dump the SLs, then you could use that extra ton to upgrade the engine, which in turn creates better HE.
    OR
Dump the SLs and upgrade to a ML.

Anyhow. If I ran this build, I might drop the engine down to an XL200 to put an AMS in. It be raining something fierce out there.

My apologies for making an entry in your forums gentlemen, but I prefer this modification matching the weapon ranges producing less heat, with better armor, cooling efficiency, greater speed and a BAP.
Yes it is defenseless after the arms are destroyed.

again my apologies for intruding in your forums. I'll go back into the shadows now.
