Man, that AC/2 game was painful to watch. Remember the golden rule of the dakka: there is one and only one good way to fire AC/2s: all the guns together in the same group. Staggering the shots will trigger an heat penalty loop with exponential heat generation. Chainfiring will deal the same DPS as one gun, total waste of tonnage (if you're hot, still shot all the cannons together to concentrate damage, just shot less). => one key with all the cannons, that's all! as long as it doesn't loop, 3 AC/2s generate NO little heat penalty and 4 AC/2s only a little.
That video was for Demonstration purpose of the Ghostheat. As explained in the video Groupfire produces little heat compared to high speed staggering shots.
a lot of PPC shots didn't register in that last vid :/ that escaping QKD had a red cored back CT and simply didn't get hit by at least 2 double PPC shots.
It's a quirk i have.. Weapon Convergence/Accuracy Reasons in frantic fights, don't want to confuse myself. without Armlock: - reticles not aligned during torso twist - shoot torso and arm weapons at the same time = hit 2 different locations with Armlock: - reticles aligned during torso twist - shoot torso and arm weapons at the same time = hit the same location I have better success with Armlock, so i let it be default and if i ever need it, i still can press Shift. But most times i don't need it, so it's ok.
AWS-9M forever! Best mech! So POWARFUL! PS: you might be the first I know using the tartan pattern, it's really not common. On mine I use the Buccaneer, actually only because it's written "I'm 2" on the shoulder.
Nice shooting Blagg. On a side note I thought both ERPPC and PPC counted as the same weapon for Ghost heat. IE more than two total triggers the ghost heat.
