Banshee lovers, meet the Iron Giant. Don't you remember in the movie when the Iron Giant went ballistic and fired that huge energy ball at those battleships... well guess what! This is it! Sorry I don't have any screenshots from my battles, but my computer acts really dumb when it comes to print screen. Anyway, here's how it goes: Group 1: All PPCs on chain-fire. This runs very cool for PPCs, even on hot maps it is not difficult to manage this. It is truly a intimidating sight to see at the other end of this mech as you see three lightening balls flying at you and shaking your screen. Group 2: Gauss Rifle. Why not? I was never good with AC builds and when I first bought this mech, seeing how much people were having fun, I was disappointed. However, the Gauss rifle was always my strong point, and with this sniper mech, it is definetly an effective tool to use, especially when cooling down PPCs/in between shots. Group 3: Triple PPCs, no chain-fire. Now this is a really fun tool to use. It does run a little hot, but even after using this group, you can fire two or three PPC bolts before nearly overheating. This absolutely destroys lights such as Locusts and Ravens. If you happen to find a light sniping your team mates, simply zoom on him and let it rip. I've had PLENTY of matches were I will 1-hit-kill lights. Aim for side torsos on assaults and surely you will rip through that armor. This giant is a very effective weapon. The high mounted PPCs and Gauss Rifle allow it for some fun peaking around corners and the use of AMS and those arms really help against LRMs, which aren't ever a real problem. It moves with decent speed and is mostly for fighting afar. You can drop the Gauss ammo a bit and possibly fit in double heat sinks or go for a lower engine. This is fully armored so you definitely aren't a glass cannon. For most snipers, this mech is at least 400+ on most matches, even with mediocre teammates. Have fun with the Iron Giant! yay my first post!
