Bit of a pauper's build, seeing how it uses the stock engine, but HEAR ME OUT!

The main idea behind this mech is that it can dish out a LOT of damage at range using the dual PPC (preferably chainfired) and the LRM20 all while closing the distance, and taking out an enemy mech using the small pulse lasers and grinding up exposed components using the LBX.

This is a build I've been having a lot of success with, and in adapted form on my La Malinche as well. The weapons sync startlingly well - the LRM20 and dual PPCs are brutal beyond 180 meters, and once someone gets inside that range, it's going to have a lot of damage. Perfect food for the LBX and SPLs.

I grouped the weapon as follows:

    1: PPCs (chainfire, usually)
    2: LBX10
    3: LRM20
4/5: SPLs (both buttons; the 4 and 5 buttons are extremely close together on my mouse, so I tend to hit 4 when I wanna hit 5 and so forth)

It runs decently cool, tanks like it's nobody's business, and puts out a lot of pain. Give it a try. It may just work for you.

Explanation behind the name is that a 95-ton dubstep blaster would be irritating at range and steadily get more annoying and unbearable the closer you get to someone. No offense to those who enjoy dubstep!

Also it's called Banshee too. It makes noise. And stuff. Yeah.

I've never been a fan of the single LRM 20.
12 tons (if you count the ammo too) for a volley of 20 missiles that will spread out over your target after requiring a lock on time?
In a banshee (especially a slow banshee), you want to fire once with the PPCs and turn your shield arm side. I'm running a Banshee with 1 second Laser beam duration and I'm considering to swap it for PPCs, simply so that I don't have to face the enemy so long.
Besides, a few AMS (which probably become more popular with Clan patch) completely take it out; then your 12 ton investment is neutered. Op top of that the cooldown is pretty long.

2xPPC to open people up and LBX10 to finish off with crits is slick though.

SMPL are better to be swapped for ML. SMPL are probably nicer vs. circling lights (especially due to the atrocious twisting speed), but ML are in my opinion more versatile as nothing else will want to get within 100m unless that's the closest way to PPC safety (You still have the teammates in most cases) and you already have an LBX/teammates to protect you from said lights.

    This is my variant:

the same 20 DMG alpha even if they do decide within 90m is the place to be, faster, more heat efficient.
