Beginner's variant of my CHP-3N "Meta starter" (1xGR, 2xLL, 2xERML, TC1, XL300) + alt with a more beginner friendly Light Engine for increased survivability and better overall cooling

    Ballistic Cooldown− 10 %
    Missile Cooldown− 10 %
    Missile Spread− 5 %
    Range+ 10 %
    Base Armor (CT)+ 12
    Base Armor (LT)+ 10
    Base Armor (RT)+ 10

    PROs:
    • Improved survivability: helps beginners to preserve their presence on the battlefield, especially when they don't have good awareness of their surroundings and avoids side torso death in case of an XL engine was fit.
    • Full armored shield arms: they are not excellent like a warhammer, but they can still soak up some damage. If you keep calm and don't face tank the whole time, you can learn torso twist and shielding.
    • Good range: thanks to +10% range quirk, IS ERML will achieve a very similar range compared to clan ERML, despite the lower damage, which helps if you are transitioning from a clan-centric experience, but also means you don't have to brawl or get closer to fire at your optimal range, so when dropping with friends it can show the importance of positioning and poking rather than nascaring.
    • Cool: with 50% cooling efficiency, it helps newbie pilots struggling with trigger discipline and avoid overheating. Also, don't forget the single Gauss Rigle is almost heat-less damage: you can always fire your gauss rifle with little consequences.
    CONs:
    • Slower compared to the XL version, which could also mean slower repositioning and slower pokes
    • Worse range compared to LL build: LL have better range synergy with Gauss rifle compared to ERML and deal almost as much damage as 2xERML (9 damage vs 10). Damage difference is neglible (43 VS 45 dmg), optimal range increase could be important depending on map.
    Weapon groups:
    • Gauss Rifle (almost free heat, should be fired alone if heat level is critical)
    • 1xLL + 3xERML
    • 6xERML
    • 2xERML (arm mounted)
    • 6xERML chainfire (when heat level is critical and REALLY desperate to finish off a target)

ALT: strip some armor, remove half ton of ammo and add a TC1
