Clan Wave 2 Mechs

I have this feeling about this: That torso looks as a bullet magnet... can be hitted even from the back at 30-40º...

 

looks closer to the original than expacted, but thi is not the best angle for this mech, seriously.



I thought clan invasion happens cause crybabies born in a soda can wants some of those free range human booties!
Fine... I have "some: respect when it comes to some clans, like the Star Adder (and in a way wolf and maybe falcons)
But seriously lots of them are overrated. Then again the IS is no batter... some powers are just bat shit insane at a time, or just too broken to even try.

 

While I won't be getting this clan pack for a couple of reasons, I must say it makes me happy to see so much enthusiasm here over this package. Things can get very doomy and gloom sometimes!

 

That is the saddest, most lazy, crap i've seen come out from that place that shall not be named... Please tell me this is a photoshop joke.. Why and how have created this monster instead of the neat original design or even something close to that.

I mean thats just a lazy 30min scratch work by using existing model parts... Legs are from a Catapult, cockpit is from a Dragon, arms look like for one side of the Cataphract and so forth.... It looks absolutely nothing like the concept pic above.. :,(

 

Amusing reference but now it has me wondering if the site's traffic has picked up because of this news.

 

I know MechSpecs has a bit. 126 people online at one time so far today (within a 15 minute window).

If we migrate to the new XenForo system I am going to put together a few teams to work on the site and drive it forward; a moderation team (consisting of 1 or 2 guys) and a News and Content team (consisting of a few people).

It's a picture Blagg stole from the mech mashups thread to troll all you guys into thinking its real. It looks like it has body parts of other mechs because they are body parts from existing mechs.

 

If that is the case then Blagg will be off my Christmas Card list.

I would have sworn that was real; well played sir, well played.

But for the record, a side view would be better for the mad dog.

No date has been announced when either package will stop being offered.

 

Of course it's a hoax. By now you should have noticed that the MWO-Mechs are well designed.
The picture posted is a mix of already existing mechs put together to resemble a Vulture (Catapult legs, Dragon cockpit, etc.), thus Michaels post.... IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE!!! awww, nvm... I'm too late.

I want to have a Mad Dog right now, but that's too much cash for dumping it into a videogame...at least for me

 

Oh, I don't know. They will be free eventually. I see buying them as supporting future development and I have liked the last two months a lot.

I'll consider it.

 

All I want is more variety. And it sounds like PGI wants to give it to me. Now, the obvious counter to this is "we've heard promising news from PGI before and where are we now?" but call me a sucker... I want to believe them. I really do.

Which is really unfortunate because I was planning on pumping my holiday funds into Smite. And now it might go to MWO. Odd choice that: lots of really cool cosmetic items for a game I love now... or lots of actual gameplay effecting things for a game I want to love again (but fear may never meet my expectations).

 

This is HQ: The Clan Wave 2 is officially released and All-Clear! The Mad Dog doesn't look like Frankenstein!

Banshee has nice hit boxes, shield arms, and high weapon mounts. The Gargoyl has arm weapons, low slung mounts, and a head the size of NYC so I don't see a small ct box happening. Clan ermls are also very very hot with ghost heat and you have 21.5 tons to mount weapons and hs in thats it.
