4x AMS assault with composite dual gauss with 4x ML for back up.

There is room to trade an AMS and ammo for LAMS if you prefer. You will just have lay off the lasers more, but no worries about running out of AMS ammo.

 

This is the build that worked best for me - i call it "1.5 HGR"

My version is slightly different only in the ammo and armor distributions/amounts. Gauss ammo should be split to fill all available crit slots for better crit-padding.

 

Finally bought this mech and the test drive (even without consumables) was very decent.
