I haven't seen this posted and there is most likely a good reason. The K2 is not a really good mech to put 2 AC20s on, but its one of a few that are capable so I had to try it out. The Jagermech is a much much better choice because you can place the AC20s on the arms and put an XL engine in it. It surprised me to not be as bad as I thought it would, but my pug teams weren't terrible either when I was testing it. Its slow, low armor, and wont survive long so stick with a ECM mech like an Atlas DC. Here is an alternative with out the 2 MLAS and more ammo.
If you strip out some ammo, you can put the stock engine back into it without sacrificing (much) armor.
Yeah its doable with the stock engine, but I could only really get 4 tons of ammo in there. I hate being useless when the main weapon ammo is gone so I stick with the version with 2 MLas. After its all said and done it's not a smart build for the K2, but fun to try out.
Hi there, so this is the scary Dual AC/20 build. Well the Damage is insanely high, but the problem i see is that you need to get very close to enemies before u can deal real damage. But with your low Armor stat this could be a real problem. So the only way to survive long with this build is to stick to an Assault/Group and fire from the second line. Absolutely ok for a Catapult.
