I'm wondering how much it would increase the CW population to boost the cbill earnings?

It would work only for a small amount of time, as all the pugs would get milked by organised 12 man's, who would see CW even more appealing cbills wise.
After few stomps they (pugs) would get back to solo queue where when they die they can get another mech and keep on playing. With increase of cbill hungry 12 man's risk of droping solo to CW and get farmed would outweigh the possible reward when getting pug vs pug game.

When you play in an organised group, CW brings you loads of cash.
CW was intended as endgame content, therefore it should not be a place for unorganized pug drops, as it is in every other MMO, endgame = team play.

This. I routinely make 8-900,000 with premium time on a non disastrous match. On a disasterous match I make maybe 700k. Only one is a +30% mech and its often not even launched if we do well.

I don't use premium but averaging anywhere from 2500-3200 dmg per match and the highest I have seen yet was 700k. One weekend I got premium from a challenge and started avging about 1-1.2mill, that was nice. I would love for that to be a regular thing especially with how much time it takes.

I presume that's 12 man as the highest ones I have are 1.2-1.25 and those were exceptional not averages? For example, 398 match score with 2980 damage was 1,229,769, a match score of 392 with 2948 damage was 1,078,019, a match score of 480 with 3.550 damage was 1,241,583. Not being egotistical but in each case I dominated the respective matches. The only way I could see you consistently getting that high or higher is using a raft of +30% c-bill mechs. Even then you'd presumably be blowing the rest of your 12 man away result wise.

If you have any screenshots or reward breakdowns I'd be fascinated to see them.

PS: Those three results just happen to be the three best kill matches I've ever had ergo why I kept records.

  6. How about a daily boost like double mech experience? First match or win gives a ××% c - bill increase.

The win condition might actually boost pug participation significantly. The 12 man will likely get their win in their first match. The pug players may need three or more games.

3x c - bill boost if you use three or more trial mechs... :p

The easiest way to do is to group up a bunch of people on public group, find an empty planet, and win a ghost drop.

I could see some xp/cbill bonus for the first few battles, like 50-10% or just a flat rate so the newbs get there share to.
As for the Trial mechs there should be a fine of a 200k for each trial and stock loaded mech, for gimping your team.

    Amen - I wince any time I see a (C) mech...

  10. Even with a 50% bonus, I don't think ghost drops would pay out well. How much do you get with one of those "wins" before the faction rewards? 100,000?

  11. I remember some legendary bitchin' during the games in BoT after faction switching was allowed. 'Why are these trial mechs so damn hot?'

@ Remarius - I actually almost never group drop in CW and when I do it is in 3-4 mans max. Also not to sound like a total asshole but almost every single game, I deal top damage in the game. Occasionally I will have a dud game and barely break 2k, like a roll or something but other than that I at least break 2800 dmg. I am a very experienced and competitive player. I use high sustained dps setups, that aren't ammo dependent allowing for maximum longevity and hit power. Works for me and my plans for when I am able to play a bit more often will be to start avging more toward 4k dmg per match, which will probably take a while tweaking builds and dropdecks.

Actually, as far as income boosts go I was thinking of a very large boost so you can make more then in the normal game modes even in a stomp. But I suppose CW's problems are a bit deeper then that at the moment. Why make more money if you don't have fun doing it?

Well to fund the rest of your stuff... ergo why I have 300 mechs all fit and still sit on 176m or so.

TBH raising income would get a bit ludicrous.
