I've been running this build with 2 tons of AC2 ammo and 3 tons of LRM ammo. I have more of the LRM ammo as I tend to spam it at any target I can reasonably hit but may not be in line of sight. The AC/2 becomes the main weapon during a midrange fight. The fast projectile and high DPS means you will do a number on anybody out in the open. Of course, I keep spamming the LRM's at them unless they get too close for them to be effective. The ammo amount seems about right. AC/2 will run out in about 50% of the matches you enter, but only towards the end. This is usually from big mechs deciding that the middle of the field just happens to be the best place to sit. I will also typically have less than 50-100 LRM's remaining as well. I run with the AC/2 set to group 1, Lasers set to group 2 and LRM's chained on group 3. During the match, I will spam the missiles at anybody who is out of cover. Chaining the missiles is great for pretty much anything but works especially well when the enemy closes to within 300 meters. The longer barrage combined with the rocking from the AC/2 keeps them off balance. The lasers are mainly a secondary weapon for when the AC/2 runs out of ammo and is also a good deterrent for lights. So far I have been running without DHS but I can see where it would come in handy. Once you get that AC/2 firing in combination with your launchers, you will heat up pretty quickly. Usually, you can kill the other mech before you get in danger of shutdown but there are exceptions. Also, when the lights start buzzing around, DHS would help keep the ML cool. Again, usually not an issue but might help if you find yourself always running hot.
