Lately i've actually been running it on the DWF-W with 9 ERLL for higher burst output. I have weapons groups setup as follows:
    1 - 2x RA ERLL (RMB)
    2 - 2x RT ERLL (LMB)
    3 - 2x CT ERLL (Left Thumb)
    4 - 3x LT/HD ERLL (Left Pinky)
5 - All ERLL on chainfire
6 - All ERLL on chainfire

Then I have a macro that clicks 5 and 6 quickly, then repeats with a ~0.5s delay. That way it will cycle through 2 at a time every 0.5s

This way it moves from right to left irl as it does with the mech. Makes it easier to time which you'd like to shoot and when.

In reality, I've rarely used the macro anymore. If I'm at resting heat, I'll fire them as 3x2x2x2 and eat the ghost heat from firing those 3 initially. The result is 100 damage on target, at ~800m, within 3 seconds. Puts you near heat cap, but won't overheat you. Infact, you can follow up quickly.

Otherwise, I'll just fire the 2x2x2 weapon groups as that will keep me heat capped regularly. The 3x is for high peeking opporunity shots where I have the heat to spare. You have to judge what's more important, eating the extra heat for the faster damage, or not using the 3x and get more heat efficient damage by firing 2x2 etc.

So far, this has definitely been the most practical version of the ERLL spam IMO

Thx, I will try Your conf. Actually I have the 8 ERL version with TC3 and I use two group with all laser in chainfire. Click first group keeping button depressed and after the first laser shot I click also the second and keeping it depressed. So it shot the lasers one after one and I managed to fire (map depending) from 13 to 18 shots.
But I feel that the time to shot is too long so the macro idea with the firing group could be better.
For the macro You use Fire Control?
    Thx.

I don't use Fire Control, I just use my Logitech software. Nothing complex, just presses 5 and 6 with a delay then repeats with a delay.

I would recommend not firing them manually in chain fire, I noticed it's very easy for the background code to mess up and trigger ghost heat frequently if you're not extremely careful about the timing. That is, if you have them in chain fire and you repeatedly click each chainfire group.

Firing them with in-game chainfire, by just holding down the button, makes it pretty much useless to have so many ERLL. The point of taking so many is to fire them quickly, so that all have fired before the first has cooled down. If you're not firing them with that in mind, you might as well play something much different like an ERLL+Gauss combination or something similar.

Unbalanced version of the 8xERLL with ECM and 2xJJ.

    WG1 - 2xERLL left arm exterior
    WG2 - 2xERLL left arm interior
    WG3 - 2xERLL left torso lower mounts
WG4 - 2xERLL head and left torso high mount

As you are side peeking or moving left start WG1->4. Retreating or moving right into cover, WG4->1.

You can safely fire 4xERLL at a time, but that is an extra 26.22 ghost heat you have to deal with. Good for pokes over rocks or times when you only want to expose the arm quick.
