As the name implies, made this when I was rather tipsy. Shelved it for quite a long time (since I had finished leveling the A variant) because I simply didn't like the A. Returned to it last night, and found it was working quite well. This setup seems comfortable at range. For those bold enough to come head on, the constant fire of the UAC2's provides enough incentive to have second thoughts. the CLLas x2 helps with the long range poke. The TC assisted MPLs help when it comes time to shear some components. Ammo is pretty adjustable - this is just what works for me. It's likely not the most awesome build, but I was doing better with this last night than my other variants. I found it can be a nice money maker (and as such, might adopt it for the prime). It was a nice breath of fresh air from the 2x Gauss, 2x PPC builds, at least. With some reservations, it runs cool enough. I chain fire the LRMs. 1. MPLs 2. cUAC2s 3. LLas 5. LRM
I independently came up with a very similar build, it's working quite well. Many say that LRMs on a DWF is for noobs, but since people generally put a lot of effort to avoid being in front of you at all times and the thing is terribly slow, I spend a lot of time just trying to find a direct target. And 2xLRM15 are not to be scoffed at. Still, this mech is not the best platform for LRMs, so I cut down the ammo in favor of the other weapons. By the time I exhaust my LRM ammo I have direct targets. Also, compared to your original build, I chose the A right arm to get the arm actuator which is immensely useful. I also aligned weapons to each side to improve "convergence" and minimize exposure. I can peek from the left side at long range and fire cERLL and LRMs, and short range all the weapons on the right side converge/focus very nicely. Weapon groups: 1. 3x cMPL + 2x cUAC5 + TAG 2. 2x cERLL + TAG 3. TAG 4. 2x cUAC5 + TAG 5. 2x cLRM15
