Ever have one of those days where you just don't know what to do next?

Jenner = Mastered (with Module Slots)
Cataphract = Mastered (Without Module Slots.. Not wasting 21k GXP... yet lol)

So now I'm trying to decide what to work on next... Maybe work my way through the lights? I was thinking a Commando or a Spider might be fun, but then the Raven might be a little more useful with the electronics suite.

    What is everyone else doing?

    I've managed to put my Master mark on the HBK-4SP, CN9-AL, CTF-3D, CTF-1X, CTF-IM, AWS-8R and the AS7-D-DC.
Have Elited many on top of that, and 2 of my CN9 and TBT-3C are near Master.

If you wanna Master a new mech, but are looking for light, I'd say go have some fun with the Spider if you wanna be a nuisance, or go with the Commando if you want to at some point SSRM people down while lock-blocking with ECM ;)

I first Mastered all of the Centurions and learned, in doing that, that I really liked moving fast. I followed with the Ravens after that, now Lights are my favorite 'Mechs for sure. I guess it's a matter of taste. Do you have a favorite weight class? Have you already Mastered all of the variants in your favorite 'Mech?
You have already put a lot of work into Light and Heavy 'Mechs, maybe it's time to go Assault or Medium. Whatever you decide, all that matters is that you have fun.

    Good Luck,

    Myth.

Post Script: You probably have alot of 'Mechs that are well into Elite, place four of these on your home page and cycle through them until they are Mastered. Keeps things changing and alleviates the boredom.

That is an awesome (no pun intended) idea! I think I will be looking at either other lights or a Centurion or something. I will take a little time and think about it. I've never been a fan of the Assault class to be honest; just can't get used to moving that slowly!!! As for my Jenner class (my fav thus far) I have the D, F and the K all Mastered. Easy Peasy lol

I am currently working on Mastering my Jenner's and Trebuchet's at the moment, hoping to have them done before the release of the Jaggermech..."Barrage Fire Mayhem!!!
I totally agree with you about moving slowly; the only Assault I own is my Founder's Atlas and my Catapults do 80+ KPH.

I own all 4 Founders mechs as well and really should work on mastering them but PUG dropping just takes so damn long to master a mech chassis. Probably what? a week + of pretty intense hour investiture to master a series of 3?

I don't actually have any of my Founder's 'Mechs Mastered. I am working on Elite on all but the Atlas which I will likely never level beyond Basic.

Started with Cicadas (was going to do Hunchbacks, but someone suggested I try the Cicada, so I did and liked it). Mastered them, then thought I'd try the Hunchies, but couldn't deal with the slowness after having gotten used to the Cicada's speed. Sooo, I tried the Jenner (having watched Michael in a few fantastic rounds gave me some inspiration ). Never dreamed I'd find myself in a Light mech, considering I used to run Heavies in MWIII and Mediums in MWIV. But I absolutely fell in love with it! Mastered them, kept my F and D varients. [IMG]

From there, it only made sense to get the Light with the ECM, so I mastered the Ravens next. Wasn't sure what to do after that. Then Double XP weekend rolled around. And so did the Spider. While I wasn't a fan of it at first, I thought that this was a great time to master a mech, so I went with it, and got all 3 ground out by the weekend's end. The only Light I don't have, and don't foresee myself doing is the Commando.

So where does a Light 'Mech pilot turn once their Lights are Mastered out? Well I see Michael opted for the Centurians. Not a bad choice, and may do them as well, but I decided on the Trebuchet for now. Still tweaking my C build, not quite happy with it yet. Am hoping that by the time I have both the Treb and Cent Mastered, that the sweet Highlander will make it's appearance. It will probably be the only Heavy anyone will get me into, but I want to have it in my Hangar for those time a roll needs filling (especially for the heavier tonnage limit League/Tourny games).

I am LOVING my Centurion A... I am currently saving for the AL components I need but I have a feeling the A will remain in my mechbay

Good luck with the Trenchbucket, let me know how it works out!

I started with Commandos, left them unfinished to master the Centurions (great mech). Then I went through the Trebrochets (best bro mech). Went back to finish my Commies and now I'm on to Spiders. Having a lot more fun than I expected and looking forward to picking up the 5D for a return to ECM goodness. Not sure where to go after that, might try my hand at a heavy or assault.

I started with hunchbacks since I had a founder's version. Then I realized how strong ECM was and decided to complete commando.. Afterwards I realized that ravens do everything commandos do, but better, so, irritated that I had already gotten elite status on my com-2d, I worked on ravens until I got master level.

Next I think I'm going to get stalkers or catapults maxed out, as both are extremely versatile in what they can do. But for now, I'm happy with just enjoying the variants I have. I have 3 mech that I run consistantly that feel decked out, my Ilya Muromets, my Raven 3L (haters gonna hate), and all of my hunchback variants, depending on how I feel that day.

I would personally say get some friends on the game with you, and use the mech you have maxed out. You shouldn't feel like you should always be grinding out the next mech. I feel confidant with the ones I'm using now, and I don't think I'll need another until a new mech comes out that catches my fancy.

I'm getting one in each weight class...

    Lights: Jenner (and maybe Raven)
    Medium: Centurion (and maybe Trenchbucket)
Heavy: Cataphract (and not sure yet)
    Assault: NO IDEA YET.

If you're willing to wait a bit, I'd go with the Highlander, it looks ace. By the time I'm finished with my Spiders the JagerMech should be out, so I'll go for that next. Dakka Dakka!
