Yeah, that's what they're supposed to come with. The right arm is the same style as the Timber Wolf and Hellbringer, but the left arm is a straight flat style. When the Hellbringer arrives, it will have the same legs and hips as the Summoner. And it will have two "candy cane" arms. Summoner is cool and all, but I'm still waiting for the Kit Fox and Nova reveals.
Do like the set of 6 photo's hopefully they'll back fill the ones before. Yes I know I already purchased but its nice to see toys to build up anticipation.
That Summoner is a sexy sexy mech. Too bad it probably won't be competitive because it is horribly under gunned, under armored, and has too massive an engine for its weight.
Mech is going to look a little silly with the missles striped out, though. Headless horseman. At least the hunchless hunchback still has a head.
I wasn't sure what to think of this reveal for a while but after playing MC2 again this week, I like the MWO design. 8/10 [or 7/10 if being critical of the mech's profile]
I really don't like the paint jobs on these clan mechs. It's like they're wearing late 70's early 80's track suits. Thought the Heaven's Gaters took their medicene and met the comet but MWO keeps the dream alive I reckon.
It is the color scheme, something you can easily change. Also, think this is the special color that comes with it. Oh we need a feedback page on kit fox.
I am tempted by the Summoner, but I fear it'll be heavily undergunned for a 70t mech. In addition to this we still don't know which of the variants we'll get.
Yeah I know what you mean - without the variants its really relying on the TT variant info. Summoner looks very sharp and well detailed. Nice speed and manoeuvrability. But 3 weapons?
Pretty disappointing if you ask me. Not getting the C puts the nail in the coffin for me... No Summoner a lá carte for me. I am even unsure about the Stormcrow, which was pretty set in stone for me before knowing the variants.
Only one ballistic slot between all three variants really ruined the summoner for me. Sure I could do a lot with a mix of energy and missiles, but I think even one more ballistic slot would make the summoner so much more effective.
Well actually you can pack 3 Ballistic using the pod system: LA from Prime; RT & LT from D, RA either 2M (B) or 2E (D). You even get the dual AMS from the D thrown in for free. Personally I'd prefer the 2E in R and L arms but I can see people wanting the 3B. Prime RA 1E LT 1M LA 1B B RA 2M LT AMS M LA 2M D RT 1B + AMS + targ comp? RA 1 E LT 1 B + AMS RA 2E LA 2E
I ran a Summoner last night, mounted a clan UAC5 in LT and one in RT. Really high mounts in the chest too. As backup, 2 ER MLAS in each arm. Felt more like a medium/heavy and I am a bit worried about the available tonnage for weapons. I wanted a dual AC10 but didn't have the spare tons.
More like, it would be easier if we can remove a few JJ. That way you still get some fixed JJ, but room for ammo also. I mean, a Catapult can do 2x AC10 and 4x MLas. Summoner looks more and more like a jumpy weak excuse of a dragon.
