How often do you guys see your fellow Mech Specers?

I've seen Blagg a few times now. Saw him today on the other team like always on Caustic. I'm in my Kintaro 20 wannabe Hugger. Blagg's team has some lrmers from hell so I get CT critted early so spend my game hiding behind cliffs but I do live even though I had the walk of shame. The bright spots of the match was seeing Blagg and getting a kill on a Blackjack that thought I wasn't behind the hill so I gave him 4 MedLas and 3 SRM 4's up the poop chute.

I spent my day running SRM brawler builds and SRM's do seem to be doing better. Still sometimes I get a flub hit where I know that I catch them in a spread but nothing registers.

PS- Running the Kin 20 wanna be Hugger I did get a 6 kill match and a 5 kill match but barely broke 600 damage in each game. Run a standard engine in it that surprises some folks expecting a easy ST kill in it.

 

I feel like my ELO is too low to see anyone in game. I was in Blagg's game once, and that's it. I also wonder what times everyone is on, as my times are erratic, so I don't usually get the same folks.

I hope to see some of y'all eventually, but only time will tell!

 

It's random depending on when ppl play, timezones etc, but I've played most of them. Sometimes several games in a row. You can get elo weighted in randomly too.

I've seen you Sucitraf.

 

I've seen Blagg once or twice I think... Chattah, maybe once... LtSatisfactory a couple of times... Vergere (spelling?) once or twice as well, and I regularly drop with Don Zappo.

Otherwise, I'll admit, I don't recognize a lot of Speccers when running. :-\

 

I work the graveyard shift, so I tend to play in off hours for a lot of people. I've seen Epikt a few times when I play before bed in the mornings, but that's all.

Edit: I did forget Jay Z. I see him more than anyone else, now that I think about it.

 

Well my ELO is low also, maybe I should spend more time piloting things I am good at, then again leveling stuff and having fun trying out new builds are fun! That, and leveling the other mechs.

Grouped with a few of the guys here, is a blast.

We should have a post here so people can leave their ID to be added, and we can group more.

 

As a probably mid to low ELO (1.14 w/l and 1.1 k/d) player i see relative few people from mechspecs, saw grimm onces and managed to leg his raven (sadly failed to get the kill thanks to uac/5 jam), was rofl stomped once by solahma and trounce and see Jay Z regulary.

Me neither, bro. I'm a bit "meh" at the lack of progress and the upcoming clan packages. Still, I find tine for a drop or five every other day. Lazily working on Stalkers at the moment.

 

I've ran into (and gotten killed by) Blagg a couple of times. I even think that he and LT was in the same lance.

I see a lot of them, I also get called out a lot. Helps that I have an easily remembered name. As for drop times I drop solo PUG during the day, mainly to test builds and what not as I have my kids with me and can't drop on coms and AFK a lot. I drop after 9PM EST with my unit with my normal builds.

 

I see a handful of fellow 'speckers, but not enough!

Since I almost exclusively pug, I do feel like I see a different group of people based on which weight class I'm playing though. Roughly based on my W/L records, it would seem appropriate that it happens. Recently I haven't been sticking to one weight as much as I used to, so the variety is increasing!

And for the popularity contest, some shoutouts off the top of my head to people I see on occasion: Cattra Kell, Chattahah, epikt, Falconium535, FuzzyBunny, JungleTTRL, LT Satisfactory, ProtoformX, SirEpicPwner, SubjectSeven, tfun90

 

I saw one guy once, I'm pretty sure.

 

With a lot of mechspecers being European (not counting SubjectSeven since he is a vampire and still plays North American-prime hours), plus games being ~8 minutes, you usually get stuck in the same rough group of players so it can be luck of the draw.

It's also a function on how often you play for how often you're seen... I play way too much so I see a lot of you and provide ample opportunity for everyone to murder me.

 

Usually European and American Mechspecs Members should meet me, when playing 9pm-1am resp. 3pm-7pm. Guys from Asia/Australia will have it harder i guess.

It's maybe not happening in PUGs easily to meet other guys from Mechspecs because the Chance in the Matchmaking even with similar Elo (however that works) is very little. How big is the Playerbase atm? Maybe still big enough to keep the probability around 0-1%.

If you want to meet each other for playing together in same Lances simply add each other in your friends list. I'm always glad to fight along other Mechspecs Mechanics/Mechwarriors.

 

Need to start doing Mech Spec get togethers again like Vergere used to run.

 

Relatively often. But, I also drop with a lot of you either through UMAD or friends lists...

STILL NEED TO LANCE UP WITH BLAGG! I've been so damn busy with family and work lately that the only time I'm on at all in the last month is for UMAD practice sessions... :-\

 

With private matches, we can have a "Builder Battles" event and perform duels of our builds posted on Mechspecs. Some of us can record them and put them into the relevant build thread as well!
