A utilitarian support mech, intended to maximize a balance of firepower, agility, and heat efficiency. The goal was to not only have a decent punch at any range, on any map, (against any opposing weight class,) but also have enough agility to get where the team needs you in time to help. Group 1: 4x ML's Group 2: Gauss Rifle Group 3: Streaks (chain-fired) Gauss provides long-range support, while double streaks keep the lights from getting too comfortable around your lance. 4x Medium lasers round it all out, but if you hear a heat warning, switch them to chain-fire. I won't pretend it's an easy farming mech, but if you like strategy, and maintain battlefield-awareness, it's incredibly useful to your team's assault mechs. The first couple games were too much fun, so I had to share the build. I'm not sure if those image links will work, (first-time post.) So just in case, here are the links for those who want to see those game screenshots... http://screencast.com/t/vWOkdnin4Hk http://screencast.com/t/PAdZakwFy
Good build, fun to pilot and mostly of 500-700 damage games. I run mine slightly different. only 1 ton of ammo for ssrm and added BAP to counter ecm as well as changing armour distribution.
