HBK-4SP "Beijing" (2x LRM15+A, 2x MLas, 1x TAG, XL200)

    Nope not listed on the outside. This looks to be one of the best builds I have used in a HBK and I like it. Try it out see how it fits.

    Runs better in a 4J with 2x 10 Tubes instead 2x 6 (= 3 small Volleys), don't you think?

    I wonder why you find this build as one of the best builds for the 4SP? You have problems at Brawling with 2x SRM6+A?

    Been running something similar, but I think I like yours better:



    The HBK-4SP was my first mech and I loved it, but sadly it's not the brawler it used to be any more. SRM registration bugs means it no longer has punch (I pretty much gave up on SRMs until they're fixed).
    Its low arms means you have to expose a lot of the mech to fire. The hitboxes aren't great compared to, say, the Shadowhawk or the Centurion. It's not very fast either, and speed matters now perhaps more than ever. It doesn't have JJ, which even after the latest nerf give a strong advantage. It's no longer unique in that its arms can reach 180° behind the mech (Griffin and Wolverine can do this too).

    In a nutshell, the 4SP is in a bad place right now. But as a LRM boat I can more or less consistently pull 400+ dmg. Missile hardpoints are high and TAG in the head means I can fire missiles without exposing too much.

    The 4SP has 2x10 tubes. A LRM20 fires in two volleys. You can check it in Smurfy. I think it had 2x6 tubes originally but it was changed some time ago.

    And with the latest changes around LRMs, this build has become quite powerful. I removed some ammo and added AMS and another ML in its place:
