Because who needs heat sinks when you've got a 54 alpha? Made this for a friend and thought I'd share it.
I run this build, kind of... Not sure this warranted a new post or if I should just put this here, so I'm going with the safer option of putting it here to err on the side of caution. Likely that everyone who sees this thing assumes it's running an XL, but that's really ok. You almost always surprise them anyway moving so fast, because people rarely run max engine in a Hunchie. That, and this thing has some pretty fearsome firepower for it's size. I hate that it has no jumpjets, but that drawback is balanced nicely with it's ability to shoot things directly behind it.
Well thanks for choosing mine! True. You'd be the fastest Hunchie around but it's still at the speed where it can be easily hit by rogue lights that want to touch your butt + heavies that don't like you. Personal preference is not to run XL's on anything that's not a light (I completely understand the benefits of XL's but it doesn't fit into my play style). The main armaments for this build are all in some paper-thin arms and have recently seen people targeting asymmetrical 'Mechs with the intent on rendering them useless -- this was the problem my mentioned friend was having. lol My idea was to make it harder to kill, rather than shooting off one arm/torso, they'd have to shoot off both. Decent build tho. (Why not store the ammo in the legs than the CT? That thing would be a glass cannon. X_X)
