Have been experimenting with new and interesting builds for my favorite non-light mech and this build has been extremely fun and effective. The LRMs help you remain effective at longer ranges and in situations where you can't get a clear shot with your primary weapons and has more than adequate ammo to keep it firing constantly when heat permits. When you have a clear shot the large pulse lasers fired either chain fire if running hot or grouped if you can handle the heat penalty (about 40% heat on most maps except terra therma or snow maps), these chew through armor at a ridiculous rate and the machine guns are great for distraction, critting spots you have opened with the lasers or keeping pressure on fast lights without adding heat. The std engine keeps you from getting shut down too quickly by losing a side torso, and if you place both JJ in the center, losing your entire right side doesn't really change your potential damage output. Make sure and torso twist and use your right side as a shield while your lasers are on cooldown.
