    Not highest damage or anything... just Locusting Hardmode... Frozen City with Nightvision on the entire time with 420 damage.

    Looking at all these great scores, I have to ask: how many are done with the help of a Strike and/or Coolshot? Because though they are obviously great matches, a well-placed strike can mean 300 damage easily. o_O

    I actually don't use strikes on my Locusts. They all run UAV and a Cool Shot 9x9

    Both of my matches over 1k in a locust were without the aid of airstrike damage for what it's worth. Usually pack a UAV and a Cool Shot for most matches.

    Considering you'd have to get a direct hit with 9/10 arty shells to get 300+ damage, I'd feel no less accomplished to break 1k in a locust :p

    How's this for a completely un-leveled, just-second-match-in-the-thing match? (First match was a painful 1-12 loss.) Second highest score, with no consumables, using a 6xSPL build. :)

    Oh, here's another from shortly after; this time I had some basics (the 2 for heat, and the acceleration one). I guess those few skills made enough difference that I could get top damage . . .? :rolleyes: :p

    As you might have seen in the Locust build I've opened, I've had a match around 700 damage on a basic 1E, no consumables (I almost never do, anyway), so 1000+ is very possible on a master.

    But on the other hand I think it's not much of a group que mech for the fragility, I think it can do better on solo and I would expect the most 1000+ games being solo drops.

    I've had some nice games too, but I play more backstab role, so I actually rack up more kills then damage usually, will be really unlikely for me to go over 600/700

    I thought I'd need some time to get used to locusts, but the 1E is just great for solo. I had the 5 ML in this, with 6 would be more damage in this cold map, and it's not even mastered yet.

    Getting better at these guys I think . . . definitely has no armor, and I still need all the Elites (just unlocked Speed Tweak before this match. But them SPLasers . . . so beautiful.
