Updated for quirks/modules, I'd go with: All LRM10's so you only need one LRM cooldown module, then MLas range so you can pew while you TAG. As always, you can adjust DHS/ammo/engine/armor/AMS/laser array to fit how you expect to play. I'd probably rather play a HBK-4J now, tho. The nimble mobility allows you to head tag so many butts.
Hey @tfun90 what a great build! Can you still reach continuous fire with only 4 LRM-10s? Yeah looking at the Hunchback as the next chassis to master, i wanna try out Grid Iron with its Gauss!
Here is the final answer in LRM Suppression: It fires 4 LRMs every 0.5 s, without stop until you run out of ammo. Or if you stagger your fire, 2 LRMs every 0.25 s for even greater streaming action. Ammo should last for just over 2 minutes if firing continuously. Downgrade to a smaller engine if you want backup weapons or more ammo.
No, it's not as continuous, but I think it is more effective at damage dealing between the reduced spread, module efficiency, and reinvesting those 4 tons from the rack downsize. If you want to put the effort into weapon groups/gunnery, you can use the arms as max DPS LRM racks, and chain fire/stagger your side torso racks to shake. You get the hang pretty quick of what firing patterns put out max DPS with ghost heat, without ghost heat, and with stagger.
@tfun90 wow thats some deep technique ill have to try it out! @Sassafras wow never new the X-5 could manage that, fast and deadly! Been loving the Ice-Ferret recently so it could be fun.
