Triple Dakka Power!!! Stock Engine (no need to buy another for expensive C-Bills). Enough Ammo to deal 1000+ Damage. Aim well! Weapon Groups: 1. AC5 (linked) 2. MLas (linked) 3. MGs (linked) The Track that inspired me for this build Alternate "Speed+" Version:
Gameplay Vid by Falconium535 Blagg
I'd just like to post up to say this build is freaking rad blagg. I have the acs grouped, not chained now. Tend to run out of ac rounds but the laser and machine guns make for an awesome backup. This is the build I'm running: and a couple of results. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27391225/MWO/DD/dd2.jpg[/img]
I just love this build, hopefully I'm not spamming your thread! Below is from 3 games in a row... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27391225/MWO/DD/dd5.jpg[/img] https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27391225/MWO/DD/dd6.jpg[/img]
This mech is an absolute killer. I re-bought the DD because of the current double XP weekend since I didn't finish it when I owned it for the first time (exchanged it for my S, since that one is pretty similar to the Firebrand). I am using the stock engine (XL 260) and added another ton of MG ammo. My armor placement differs a bit as well, but that's it. First round ever: Second round ever: http://i.imgur.com/NVJdYfz.jpg After those two rounds I decided to replace the second ton of MG ammo with another ton of AC5 ammo since I emptied them in both games.
Gotta say, this one just never stops hurting stuff! Here's a couple of my rounds, both 1000+ and 6 kills. http://www.imageurlhost.com/images/jmz7wki7rg630hs85021.jpg[/img] Video of the second match: Just wondering, is it possible to vote 6/5 stars?
Like Aylek, I opted for an extra ton of AC5 ammo, at the loss of a bit of speed. I use an XL255, though, so I also get more armor in each leg. Either way, no matter how you build it, this thing is so well rounded, it works in any situation!
Running Aylek's build with the XL260, except I dropped some armor from the head and the legs to fit another ton of AC ammo in there. I first tried this weapon loadout with an XL 280 (what my DD already had in it from another build), 210 AC rounds, and 2000 MG rounds, but I ended up running out of ammo for both of them late into my first match. I wanted to be sure to carry enough ammo to last me the whole time. I won't say that weakening my legs isn't risky: there are people who notice and go shooting for them, but 240 AC rounds and 4000 MG rounds guarantees I have all the ammo I need, and I can really bring the pain. A few rounds I happened to take screenshots of: (sure, we lost, but 984 damage is 984 damage no matter which side I was on) http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j389/Madcat6204/ScreenShot0033_zps0bba5cb8.jpg~original[/img] (I just got this one. I didn't live through, having walked into a healthy Atlas after taking a beating myself near the end, but 1108 is the highest damage score I've ever managed in a match. I call that a win no matter what happens to me afterwards.)
Never fails. This thing has been my back-up Jagger for a while now, and it tears up every time. It runs WAY better than the dual-AC10 and quad-MG build, IMO, due to the increased range, speed, and DPS of the triple-AC5 over the dual-AC10. As said before, it's a great all-round build.
If you say so, Falco I'll try this one out and if I like it more, the JM6S will be my new AC10 friend. I'm digging the AC5/UAC combo I have on there atm though, so maybe this: burst of the uac sounds totally sexy to me, and since I spam clicks instead of holding down I can easy add it to the MG weapon group and not waste too much ammo for those. Or, like a normal person, I could link it to the AC5s.
I just finished this match, and I just have to post this result. Same build as a couple of posts ago. 1451 damage! I actually ran through all 240 rounds of AC ammo and finished off the last enemy with my lasers and MGs. It felt pretty awesome to still be standing at the end with a score like that.
wow.. when i created this build, i never thought of the Acceptance here. I'm so blasted. I just ran this build for some few times but then got sticked to the 2xAC10+2xMLas+4xMG-Build, since i liked to hear some loud Bass Cannons haha. .. And now i rarely run the nasty Jagers since they have tooo much of XPs now and got to master some newer Mechs. Well, updated the OP with some Deco for yah
5/5, Nothing to add from my latest post here. AC5 ammo can get low pretty quickly when using the AC5 CD module.
