This is literally what a 100 ton assault mech is built to do; walk forwards and mow everything down. First version is slightly cheaper in that it retains the stock Ferro armor, while the second was provided by @Falconium and is what I consider to be the optimized final version. Playstyle is very similar to my #crablife build on the KGC-0000, but if you love your rotaries then this is where it's at.

So, first build, what I'm currently running because this was a cheap(ish) experiment for me;

Put skills into survival and firepower and cooling, and maybe take a coolshot with you as a consumable~ On a hot map this can get warm somewhat quickly, but on a cold map you have damage for days.

 

You could probably have an equally annoying build running 3xUAC2s and a UAC20, considering how irritating those 3xUAC2 Dragons can be. Might be worth investigating, see which plays nicer. My money's on the RAC version, since a KGC lacks the mobility enjoyed by Dragons.

 

Finally saved enough C-Bills to tweak this KGC chassis which I bought from the sale not too long ago, this is awesome fun especially on Solaris City, lol! Am new to both MWO and this site. Lovin' this build.

 

@Nekromanteia welcome! Enjoy your stay. As Verge mentioned above, having the big gun to smash things while you pelt it with the RACs is an excellent tactic in particular on a King Crab.

I run with a standard engine, dropped an RAC2, and picked up 2 ERML for backup. Works great.

 

@Zekester81 not a bad idea to have the backup. Heat has become more of an issue with this build since PGI reworked the heat scale so dropping a RAC2 might not be a bad idea.
