I already have three brawler Atlases, so although the AC/20 Crab looked nice I wanted to try something different and get some more gauss rifle play. At first I tried a dual gauss/ER PPC/LRM 5+5/XL 350 set up, but the XL wasn't doing for me when things devolved to the late-match brawl; I started by downgrading to a 325 STD, but some fiddling about in the 'Mech lab delivered this set up and initial runs are promising. I haven't run out of gauss ammo yet; I like it in the arms to crit-pad the rifles, but if you're concerned about losing an arm and running out for your remaining gun you could centralize the ammo. Runs just a little warm, but you won't be cycling the lasers 100% in most cases - you can drop the engine size and shave some more armor for extra cooling efficiency.
