The concept here is to weaken the enemy team substantially with LRM fire and then enter the brawl at endgame with most of your armor as a Crit Beast. I enjoy LRM boating but I also really enjoy the power of LBXs on unprotected components. I made this mech to compensate for the problems of some of my favorite weapon loadouts. Typically in early game a mech's MGs and LBXs are weak and almost pointless in trades. Conversely, LRM boats aren't as useful in endgame cause they've blown their loads and might not have as many people to scout targets for them. But this build solves that. I tend to chainfire the LRMs and run LBX 10 Cooldown modules and seismic. Pros: - Hard hitting LRMs that can make it through AMS coverage - Good endgame weapons - Easy to hit enemies with LBXs - Fills two niches on your team - Cool-running (unless you are firing everything at once)Cons: - Ammo dependency - Slow moving and turning - High spread on LBXs at range and on LRM 20s - Shaved leg armor As a final note. This build is not yet perfect. The heatsink in the engine isn't actually necessary. I invite people to play around with this build and improve on it. Also, you are not getting great quirks, with a 7.5% cooldown and velocity boost to your ballistic weapons, and no quirks to the missiles. If this were on the 000B, you would get a 10% to velocity, and 10% to missile cooldown. I would almost recommend using an XL engine if you are a support mech, this way you could move faster. It would mean downgrading to 2x LRM15, but you could use A+ with the missiles instead. Another problem is the fact that you don't have a BAP or a TAG with this loadout, which LRMS need to be effective and get locks faster, and knock down/cancel ECM. While you can dumb-fire the LRMS, TAG will make them more accurate, making your missiles do more damage. TLDR, needs improvement, and possible a different chassis to work this loadout better with the KGC.
