The kind of odd brawler that I made one day. With the famous dual Ac20's of the King Crab you can pack some serious punch, and the medium lasers and srm's can definitely help. With a 72(.2) point alphastrike you can wreck some fools, trust me. The lasers are super high mounted and the spread on the srm's is minimal. The Ac20's can finish the rest. It's pretty odd, and it does run hot, but man oh man can it destroy some fools. Basically, you play like water in the waves. Fall back, be calm, and when the enemy comes close, you lay it on them like the crash of a wave! It's always monsoon season in this bad boy.
The dual AC20s are legendary, and I ran them for a long time in my own King Crab. However, I honestly believe that the restrictive ghost heat is just too much, even moreso on a warm map like caustic/tourmaline. I have found dual 10s to work better for me; the loss on your alpha will hurt a bit, but it's a massive increase in dps because the 10s don't have nearly as mich heat gen, and you end up with less facetime because you don't need to stagger the 20s. With the weight savings you could bump the lasers or missles up, giving you some range with LLs or make up the burst lost with some srm6+As. I understand if you want to keep the 20s, of course; they're an integral part of the King Crab's legacy.
Yeah, I wish the ac20's were more efficient, because they are so very nice. You can just point and shoot at almost any stripped component and it dies from a shot from each of them. The build runs really hot, and it sucks, but it does have a lot of ammo that can be sacrificed for more heatsinks or just making room for bigger weapons if you're like me, or maybe a bigger engine. I should play with it more, it definitely needs more tweaking. Thanks for the advice though, I really needed it.
