Now Inner Sphere is able to present a Quad Gauss on the battlefield! I love Light Gauss Rifle. The cooldown is short (less than 3,5 sec) and, if you take the skill node for the Gauss, the charging time is somthink like 300Msec... You can't shoot with the four gauss at the same time. You need to manage each armes separatly. After some practice, you can shoot 2 Gauss with an average cadence of 2 sec (a little bit less if you have the perfect timing). If you are at rang, use the 3 ERMLas hight monted. The heat management is very simple, if your heat become critical, stop to use ERMlas and continus your suppression fire with the Quad Light Gauss.
Gauss skills only increase how long you can hold it at max charge, but it doesn't change the base charging time of 500ms (LGR only) as far as I know
The charging time of the Light Gauss Rifle is less than 500ms. It's more quick then traditioannal Gauss Rifle. I think, I already have the Gauss Skill Node when I use for the first time LGauss, that's the reason I imagine a reduce charging time beacause of the very short duration. Thank you for your comment.
Yes, LGR = 500, GR = 750, HGR = 1000 ms I believe. Still, fun build. too bad you can only charge 2 at a time, but it's for the better regarding quad gauss kodiaks.
kind of wish you could charge 4 LG at the same time. you only get maybe 2 extra damage from firing 4 LGs Vs 2 regular gauss. don't think that's gonna break any thing.
