Macros. Cheating or not? Whats your opinion?

Yes its cheating.. plain and simple. It allows you to do things that normally you can not do and weren't supposed to be able to do. The jam in the UAC5 is there to prevent things like the outcry thats currently going on because macros allow you to pretty much fire them at will without regard.

I am sure there are already aim bots and auto play macros too which will further ruin the fun of the game.

 

Actually it does nothing of the sort, any pilot can do this themselves, sure it makes it easier but a macro does NOT "allow you to do things that you can not do".

Auto-play macro ? Seriously? lets look at the gauss, you can make a macro to make it into a one-click thing, but the player not using the macro saves ammo, and takes better shots.

Currently the only macros that are really effective are tag ( always on) and the uac5 chainsaw, which is only marginally more effective than a good player who has practiced. And that is wht the uac is getting nerfed.
