Great build for racking up kills. High burst damage, and the UAC20 is perfect for blasting torsos you (or someone else) opened up with MPLs. 1xJJ for mobility and hills.

    4/5,
A bit hot, but a lot of damage output. UAC20 may be replaced by AC20 to decrease the pressure on your heat sinks. Cal also be run on the 5M (which is the way I tried it), 5MPL all in the arms may be preferable.

Baradul ran a build similar to this that I like. I'll be trying this when I get a Bounty Hunter:

I run this with a variation.
This is such a beast build in alley brawls

    UAC20, 5 SPL
Will insert smurfy or screenshot of mech soon.
I ran MPL at the start, then realised that I ran too hot in a sustained brawl.
Now I changed to all SPL for pin point close range brawling.
But I am pretty much useless at poking contests.

@Renzor, I think you are the same guy I brawled in this match.
What a fateful meeting. I remember charging your DWF UV.
You and that Atlas really did a number on me.
I was gone last man standing when the rest of your team showed up.

Right now I've been trying to skill up my Bounty HUnter with a heavy gauss and 5ML's.

Haha. I was running my 'Yeet cannon'. My Direwolf UV is currently loaded up with three UAC20's on chainfire with a couple of heatsinks and a $**load of ammo. That was a good match.

Armored Yokai (running the Atlas) is a decent pilot, too. I remember not long ago him going into a match with me on Mining Collective where he said he was going to Kamikaze the enemy running an Archer full of rockets. TheB33f was on the enemy team in his Fafnir, so I assigned AYokai to take him out, and he pulled it off. Very funny.

So I posted above what I was 'gonna' do when I bought a Bounty Hunter, but when I finally bought one and gave it more thought, this here is what I'm actually doing after a short stint of running heavy gauss (which I didn't like) :

The Bounty Hunter has a great 15% range quirk for normal medium lasers, so I matched them up with a UAC20 instead of a normal 20. It's a little hot, but manageable, and will only get better as it's skilled up. It's built with 'what if I lose a side torso' in mind in respects to weapon and heatsink balance, and, oddly enough, this is one of those builds where it's better to have Standard Structure and light ferro than Endo and standard armor. I love it. Can't wait to see it at its full potential.

At least put in a heat sink for a ton of armor
