The Jenner match looks way more organized in the video then it felt during play

 

Crazy! I don't know which side of that match I'd rather face! I would say you guys were crazy, but looking at what they dropped with, they totally deserved the swarming madness they received!

... Is that what 12 man drops typically look like (referring to the other team)? If so, it doesn't look like as much fun as PUG drops. I like diversity in my mechs. DO NOT LIKE.

 

Typically, yes.

With the current weight limit people tend to cram in as much firepower as possible and ECM mechs are always present. We fought another match later on with all ECM mechs. Was impossible to call targets as all sensors were shutdown.

However, that first match was pure chaotic fun.

 

I'm catching up on a good deal of the fun from last night cause I don't remember a big gap of it. Scotch and 2x Extra Strength Cold Pills don't really mix well for my memory but I do remember having a great time. You guys are definitely shits and giggles fun; even if extremely chaotic.

I even got to see a bunch of guys from my old unit show up and have fun which was really great to see! I got ripped by a few of them and managed to rip on a few of them in return and that seemed to be well received (and given) so that alone made the evening worth it.

I have one request for future events; if you are streaming please change your name in TS3 to reflect that. People come and go from the channel and you can't always say "I'm streaming" every time you hear someone enter the channel. I know had I realized that even the non-drop portions of the evening were being streamed and recorded I would have bowed out much sooner than I did.

 

Noted. I was pretty tanked myself, and i was the one streaming! Kinda scared to even look at the recording now......

 

Yeah - I was thinking about how to announce it afterwards. I don't usually stream in mixed company just cause people may not appreciate it.

 

The most fun I have had in any online game in SUCH a long time! Even top level rated raid teams in WoW. That was a BLAST!!! Thanks, guys!

I will do my best to to be there, at least for a few drops. My wife will be less than pleased, but then as it has already been said, "Big Stompy Robots IS Serious Business."

The best gaming night I have had since I can remember. I especially liked the all light mech 12 man drops and the other themed drops like Vergere's "genius" idea to have everyone take a mech with only 2 regular PPC's. Fun as hell and of course we got stomped that game. We actually won a lot more 12 mans than I thought we would. Slighlty controlled chaos. A beautiful thing. Many drinks, many great people, and many laughs . Will try and get on around 7pm mountain time today. Definitely need to make the Mechspecs game night a regular thing. So many cool people just makes it easy and fun.

Excellent game night, lots of people showed up which was impressive. We can go a 12v12 game and see who is better.
