Mechspecs Game Night

I'm glad I ran into you fellas in a random drop last night, I had completely forgot about the game night lol. Was fun, at least we got a few sync drops in

 

I really enjoy the chance to meet some of the fellas from the forums and run a few rounds with them. MechSpecs nights are always a blast!

 

Ah, those were some good drops. Quite a few nail-biters.

It seems as if I'm reluctantly becoming a field commander.

 

Speaking of commander... 3/4 games I opted to be commander issuing defend and attack orders to the other pugs (besides the other 2 people I dropped with). 3/4 games we won

last game I got lazy and decided to pass... BAM! loss...

I think randoms are actually beginning to pay attention to the issued orders!

 

Even if you can only get a couple players in a PUG to follow orders, you're still much better off with a Chime in their ear, a point for them to focus on in their maps and SOME form of coordination. Those factors will always pull more teamwork than in-game chat.

 

This is how I felt on the last sync drop with all of you chasing me through the water on Crimson Straight. Wish I had a screenshot of 5 mechs chasing after my lone Kintaro. Before anyone died none the less! I felt like the last man standing and the game had just begun LOL

 

Ill definitely try to make it. Not sure how long I will make it, but Ill probably stay till I get burnt out or everyone else leaves.

 

I'll try to pop in for a few games an hour after you start, and maybe again much later in the evening.

Anyone else coming? I was in channel at 7pm PST and SubjectSeven was the only one here so I kept grinding, now 5pm PST (8pm EST) and no one is on at all.

 

If any of you guys see me trundling around in my 4X take it easy on me I've got the flu and running a fever. The V8 Strawberry and Banana with Vodka I'm drinking plus flu meds don't make me any better. I figured I feel crappy so I'll drink till almost pass out and earn some XP on this one at the same time. Pugging that XP is such a joy.

Probably won't see you guys cause my ELO is low unless I'm shuffled on to a team to balance out a ringer.

 

Was lots of fun tonight. Sorry I didn't get on as early as I expected, but I managed to get in a few good drops before we all got tired. Look forward to next week's game night (or any random times in between)

 

Hehe I'll join you boys but I will be romping around in the trials haha! I don't play often enough to have more than 4 mil credits and no mechs yet. Saving for a phract or some kinda assault
