Welllll I have black friday MC sitting there.... Pretty sure I'll get an Ilya. I was contemplating the Heavy Metal last time it was for sale less than a month ago, but the platform really isn't much different than my Victors and I've been turned down by the loss of mobility going to an Atlas already. Firebrand is interesting but phracts and jagers are pretty close. This is totally waiting for blue sky days, but I wonder if I should save a chunk for whatever new stuff they claim to be working on (clan stuff particularly).
well, im ive just bought an Ilya with my black friday MC's.... Didnt expect the next Ilya sale that early. Im not really mad about it - but - well - could have been a better timing Have fun with it! (great machine though i still cant pilot it)
I have a FB that I love & Black Friday MC left, is the Ilya really worth it? Any idea when the sale ends?
I have almost 500 matches with the Ilya and still love the damn thing. XL340 w/tweak puts you at almost 90kph and you can still stick two AC10s and medium lasers on it with nearly max armor, hah. I'd still like to pick up a YLW but I'm going to wait before putting another penny towards this game.
