The new patch, which I will finally get to play pick up tonight.... that is unless Michelle has different ideas.
If you want gamer gurls as teammates, simply play LoL. Lots of them there. And they r damn good! MWO is not a game which attracts girls much like all Tech-Simulators do. Girls like RPGs (best with cute avatars). Has nothing to do with hiding from offensive behaviour. Most MWO players are mid-age, i guess 25-35. I don't think that males in this age area has teenage dick behaviour, or am I wrong? We should ask the girls
This is a thinly veiled attempt at drawing out women I remember when LARPing was big. Vampire: The Masquerade was a great LARP that brought out all kinds of hot chicks that wanted to dress up in slutty/sexy fashions and act certain ways because it allowed them to attribute it to the "character that they play". Ahhh good times, good times.
Funny you should mention that Michael. Currently in a Vampire: Requiem LARP with some pretty good looking she-vampires. In-fact, the women out number the men at the moment. Probably why we are on hiatus for the winter or doing in-door sessions only. Their "costumes" aren't well suited for the cold
Maybe PGI should add some sexy slutty Pilot-Portraits of female Mechwarriors plus deliver some really hot fashions in advertising stuffs like Posters or Wallpapers and we can find some more girls in Cosplay Conventions. http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/2975-slinky-battletech/
I am a mech pilot, I swear! (more like WoT, but still... ) or perhaps a guy like this would attract more ladies
Those whitewolf people again... It is better when there is no voicechat, cause female voices are quite close to those fuking annoying 12 year olds most of us hate. I treat all non-douchebag plays as any male buddies, no exceptions. As long as you don't pull those "i'm a girl please be kind and give me swag" shit then everyone is equal (you know those types).
Just remember that Tankgirl used to get it on with the tank, hence the half-tank baby.
Those were the days, my friend... Those were the days...
All I can say: "Don't Stick it in the Crazy" But yes, Those were the days...
IF by love you mean hot actions then yes, but other aspacts of the said hot gothchick might make you double cringe. Was running as a City Gangrel or Ravenos most of the time. Banned from doing Malkavians... too many fuxed up ideas and pulled fire alarms being the reason.
Just to stay OT (off topic), I always had the feeling that Malkavians in LARPs were used as an excuse to clown around stupidly. Never have I seen one who was one of those dangerous deranged prophets types that IMHO they were meant to be... ... House & Clan ftw btw ... Nevertheless, always double-check on those Goth, chicks.
I theorycraft RPGs more than anything these days (can never find people to play with so I just make characters and imagine stories for them) tried LARPing once and that was a huge mistake. But the Malkavian I made was hyper-paranoid and not at all like the stereotypical lunatic that just says random gibberish. He'd be more likely to stay hidden, run away, or possibly plant a knife in the back of an "ally" if the opportunity presented itself... I think I preferred that approach to insanity because it gave the character an excuse to always be on alert for danger.
I played a Malkavian once. He thought he was Joseph of London. The issue with that is that Joseph was a medieval werewolf. I theoyrcraft the hell out of RPGs, especiall D&D 3.5/Pathfinder. Eg this bastard: http://pastebin.com/ZvAuYpdR Some highlights: Infinite caster level. Dragonwrought Kobolds have type Dragon. "Feats gained after the dragon attains great wyrm status can be epic feats." Epic Level Handbook. Venerable kobolds are great wyrms, via Races of the Dragon. Therefore he can take epic feats at level 1. Dark Chaos Feat Swap: Classic trick using two spells to swap any feat for any other feat. Infinite caster level. Can reserve spell slots, and use them to cast any known spell as a full round action. All his spells have the chaotic descriptor (Planar Spellcasting), he's a specialist in chaotic spells (abyssal specialist) and gets focused specialist bonus spells based on that. 2/day he can recall any spell just cast, and it gets prepared again. More spells/day than a sorcerer. He has a craft(basketweaving) score of 39. Any experienced D&D theorycrafter knows how abusable that is. Did I mention Infinite caster level? How about spells that have uncapped effects based on caster level? Like infinite luck bonuses to skills, infinite damage with no save (and effectively no SR), infinite armor, temporary hp, etc. etc. No one is going to save against his spells, and Spell Resistance means nothing. Blasphemy/Holy Word: (PHB) Auto-kill, NO SAVE, on any creatures with up to caster level-10 Hit Dice. It's also an area effect and has other uses. Did I mention it's an area kill with NO SAVE? And you have INFINITE CASTER LEVEL? Infinite spells/day, because why have limits? Energy Transformation Field is broken. Can cast Miracle. Which opens up the (8th level and lower) Cleric spell list. Infinitely many times per day.
