I don't exactly know why they gave us free MCs on the test servers, anyway, I used it to buy Hero mechs I would never buy and paint them purple. Some are just meh, some are fricking awesome:

Nice mech! Then again I am mostly pimping up my mech with purple also (mainly edo, but I have a reasonable selection of shades) Difference is that I usually go for Purple with gold hints, and a bit of red on occasion. Have to say though, I have mistaken a few of those as my mech.
I have trouble finding camo patterns fitting my clan mechs. I finally picked one for my KitFox because I love the mech and don't like to have a mech I use a lot without a custom paint, but to be honest I'm not particularly excited about it: But yesterday I looked at what had been made for Direwolves and zzomghmurrrf!! (I haven't actually bought the camo since I don't know yet what config I'll keep, but it definitely be painted like this)
Edit: That DWF seems to look a bit afraid to me. Time to say merci beaucoup for the inspiration Not so sure if I like the forced red paint on all of the spiders since model update. currently levelling collecting dust one of the many Tiger-camos what many of my Clan mechs currently look like I haven't completely changed to the purple side yet, though...
Love the look of the Huggin but damn did they drop the ball with that one. All they had to do was give me a hero 3L and the heavens would have opened with sunshine and rainbows.
Indeed the Huggin looks gorgeous. Sometimes I even want to buy one, too bad I don't really feel inspired by those hardpoints.
I love the look on Huggin. That is probably the best looking light. That having said, the performance is just... *sigh* If they give it 4 missile hardpoint, or hack, give it an extra energy hardpoint on the RT and it would be enough to make things way better.
Purple Adder, with a nice phranken pattern (without bones but centipedes thingies) Also I bought the glowy purple pumpkin on sale, my boomjack is so scary now
I'm frustrated by the "anniversary" pattern because you can't modify the angel. At first I wanted to keep it white and just change the dress color to purple. Anyway, this is how it ends: (I like the shield)
@epikt I like the snowfall camo on my TBR's -> one of the best camos for clan mechs imho 'cause it doesnt matter much that many parts of the mechs arent coverd by the colours. Just try that if you can't find one which fits...
That's actually what the Spider is supposed to look like. Quoted from Sarna, originally from the 3025 and 3039 Technical Readouts: "This spiderweb pattern is further emphasized by a bright red fiberglass sealant in the seams between armor plates." And that's exactly what we have - bright red in the seams. Makes my favorite 'Mech even better.
