To be honest, if they gave the Urbie like, really really good turning and twist, even if it had super low top speed, I think I'd be able to enjoy it and use it effectively. There's enough city type or canyon-y places on maps that would make a maneuverable mech packing an AC20 murder on stumpy legs.
Have you looked at the sarna page for the Urbanmech? Calling it "maneuverable" is pushing the definition of the word to it's breaking point. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/UrbanMech The base speed is 32.4. Let me put that in perspective for you. The base speed for the Atlas is 54. So the Urbanmech travels at 60% of the speed of an Atlas. Sarna doesn't list the armor values but I've seen them and they're a joke. I don't remember the exact values but I'm pretty sure it's less than any other light mech in MWO right now. TLDR; Urbanmech is perfect for masochists. Everyone else stay away.
Nah, see, I'm saying "Maneuverable" in terms of the "Quirks" Pihrana puts in- like how the Grid Iron has 35% faster torso twist base. Give the Urbie a really fast twist and turn- even if it's slow, that turning speed would be a benefit in, well, urban areas, to dodge around corners and stuff. Savvy?
I suppose he means when you stand on the corner of a building, with just your right sidetorso and right arm to shoot, you can twist clockwise while stepping back. It givs you a little less exposure, I do that myself.
It's a walking barrel... give it a fast 360 degree torso twist & a much higher top speed and it might be worth something... otherwise once it breaks cover this mech is a turtle crossing the expressway.
