I tried the Gauss & SRM8-Panther without much success, but im determined to master this thing. Testrun on Alpine resulted on 3 kills, the elevation and mobility of the arm-mount is extremely helpful here, fighting on mountain slopes. SRMs as "hugme-extradamage", usually fired one after another, or to keep pressure up in duels. Its a bit slow, though useful for guarding an assault. Might chafe off half a ton of Ac -Ammo for a single Jumpjet, if needed.
Enileph, I'm thinking that if you drop the engine to an XL210, you can pick up some extra tonnage for ammo and it'll still run the same speed-tweaked as the XL225 does un-tweaked. If you're into that. Kinda risky moving that much slower for a half-ton ammo, but might be worth a look?
With SHS and ammo count buff, an XL225 version is possible _ If it looks too hot, you can still fit a XL210 version without too many ammo issues. _
