This is my first submission. I am hoping today's changes make brawling more viable. Here is an idea I have had for the Orion since it was first announced. I'm just glad the hard points lined up well.
You are new here so I did the changes up for you In the future please use the name convention as it allows people to quickly view capability as well as search for specific keywords in the search function (like "XL300" or "STD280" or "1x Gauss, 2x ERPPC" type things
Heres my variation of this idea. PROTECTOR Less heat efficiency but still good, and has more firepower. This version also has CASE for his ammo needs and to fill that last bit of weight.
I like it. Basically a trade of 2 DHS for a ML and 1 ton of SRM. I'll try it and see if it runs too hot for my tastes.
Ya just dont go buck wild with the weapon firing and you should be fine. Learn discipline and how to operate hotter mechs, and you can pilot anything instead of just rushing in blasting away CoD style.
yeah I like this, defo on the extra ML. I'm not sure on the extra ton of ammo though. 200/8 = 25 shots 300/8 = 37.5 shots Just kinda feel that extra ton isn't needed so much, I'd rather have the DHS.
No CASE, but 2 x SRM6 and a bit slower: That almost looks like how I planned to run my Orion K in the near future and saw no need to buy the protector (just for the record:... )
