EDIT: I had to fix the Smurfy link. Also, the C left arm has 22 armor due to the unique properties of that arm, which Smurfy doesn't seem to recognize. This is my new favorite build for this mech. I tried building for more energy range, but I'm simply having better results going for a knife fighter. The kill as the ACH-8, which was very hard to run down. He got greedy when he thought he lost me and I got him as he was trying to carve out the rear armor on a Heavy. Then I went and dissected heavies myself
I should also point out I'm a Tier Potato player. I've been around since Beta, but I take 3-6 month breaks from the game. So a better player could do very well with this build.
The more I (re) learn about the silly new heat penalties, it seems like maybe going down to six is optimal. I'm going to keep playing around.
I'll be testing more today, but I can say that with 7 I get 3 Alpha's before I'm in shutdown risk. With 6 I can be utterly reckless.
