    Hi guys!

I've finished condensing the forums. It looks a bit different from now on, so here's a short guide as to what changed:

    - The previous categories of mechs are condensed into an additional layer: the MechWarrior Build Section. This reduces front page elements significantly. You can still access the old layout with visible variant sub-forums by clicking the 'old categories' such as Inner Sphere Light Mechs, which will then show each chassis and their variants.

    - The MechSpecs news is visible to guests again, because the Discord link has been moved to its own link forum on the home page. Ideally it might be moved to the bar with twitter/youtube/rss-feed links, but I don't have the capability to do that. I'm just here managing the forum structure and such.

    - The Public Discussion category has had a few forums (especially around creative content) reimagined. Unit/clan recruitment moved to general discussion.

    - BattleTech section has been added to the bottom of the page, below the MWO builds section. Because it's still in beta and the tinkering beyond dropdecks has not been implemented yet, the forum starts small, but will be expanded as the game gets closer to release.

    - Benefactor discussion has been renamed to avoid confusion with the MWO discussion section.

Things that I'm still looking to implement:
    - Pre-Fixes to discern your build from others: is it Competitive, Casual, Joke?

    - When we implement the tagging system, we could use that instead of having to rely solely on title. This should improve the way you search for builds as well. (The search system has been buggy for a while now)

    Enjoy your stay!

    Cheers,
    Excalibaard

The tryout with tonnage-based organised mechs was fun, but not as practical as imagined. Thanks to the feedback I've switched it back to alphabetical :)
