I am using this bird to "Basic Out" my 4x. I thought at first I would get rolled, but after learning how to play the thing, it has become very very fun to play. I was going to sell the 4x, but now never will.... At first I just had a PPC in it, but after deciding to keep the bird went ahead and tossed on DHS with an ERPPC and have been having some ridiculous games. Either way, grab an XL275 from your Centurion or a Hunchback and give this thing a whirl. If you want to basic your ravens to get your RVN-3L Mastered, this is the cheapest way to go. I ended up dying here (Awesome hit me with 3 PPCs right after I downed an AS7-RS solo) but it was still a great game. Think about it. 1 PPC and 2MG = 561 damage
Since you're going to keep the mech, I think you don't mind spending 2 more million to improve it: you have 36 empty slots, way enough to upgrade both structure and armor. It allows you to (almost) max the armor, and frees you two tons. I have two ideas, either a MPlas, either a MLas and two more jets, if you want to fly. edit: or another heat sink if you want to be comfortable. And DHS upgrade of course, so you don't bother with a standard PPC anymore. edit: it looks quite fun, I'm going to try.
