How I've currently set up my ATM stormcrow. The combination of ERSL and HML sets it apart from most boats I think. I'd love to get an active probe or TC in there, but the ammo is more necessary and I like the relative symmetry of the double heat sinks. Best compromise I could find is to take 2xATM9 instead, and use the half ton gained for cLAP. 3xATM6: 10.5t, 13.5heat, lower spread, clustered volley 2xATM9: 10t, 14heat, higher spread, disperse volley
Asymmetric build with SCR-A quirk(s). If you want a Light Tag, you could trade 2x ERSL for another HML and fit it in the arm. How often are you using the HMLs? How often outside of 200 meters? I may try this and go with 6x ERSL and give up a bit of range for duration, cooldown and dps.
Ooh good call on the set of 8! I love heavy lasers personally, and use them up to 320m as long as heat allows. if you'd prefer to go pure ersl i don't blame you! Though when you look at quirks, the mdd-H is much better for the specific build you mention (can even do an atm12+9 with lots of ammo and 3 hml+tag). In that case, using this stormcrow as 6ersl+2atm9 will be more varied in my garage, so thanks a lot for the suggestion!
