    Just built this thing to try it out on the PTS...if I can ever get the "missing buildings" bug I'm having fixed, I'll try it out ;) Runs with the new SRM6 and MPLas modules, so it gets extra range on both without the extra heat. Also cheated and used the free GEXP on the PTS to max out its efficiencies, just to get a clear picture of how it would operate fully mastered.



    For an easy variant, you can use MLas and put in MGs, can't add Artemis with that engine/SRM6 combo tho :(

    An absolute unequivocal 5 stars. :D

    Still doing basics and getting results like this:

    Only downside is the ammo as running out in every battle. :(

    Am using range modules (240/480 MPL, 300 SRM) not cooldown as don't have them yet.

    yeah for me it's pretty clear that this mech needs SRM6 in the CT
    And for the ammo problem - why not replace one mpl with one ML?
    Also the SRM6 cooldown module seems to make sense here

    Grp1 = SRM6 & mpl
    Grp2 = MLas (for poking)

    +Ammo
    + A litle bit of range
    + 3 JJ
    - a bit of alpha

    The negative to that change is that I lose out on the weapon modules front as that's 3 weapon systems.

    which is a valid point.

    What about the minor variation of putting a SRM4+Artemis in there? The higher rate of fire seems to help a lot, and 100m+ shots seem to hit far more often, but I'm open to criticism regarding artemis and SRMs...


    that gets you half a ton, either for one more JJ or more SRM smmo..

    I dont really think that in this worth the extra ton to add ArtemisIV to SRM4. Its a fast mech, not an assault. I dont think u fire over 150m often, if ever. Typical is constant hit-and-run to bombard, and i think that under 125m SRM6 worth completely.

    This performs better in the 150-200m range.


    And this in the 0-125m.


    Due to the missile's spread i feel like wasting them when i fire a SRM6 above 125m without ArtemisIV.
