Interesting set up, can be run on any SHD this way. Not completely relying on 'shotgun weapons' is neat. On the 2D2/5M I'd prefer 2 ML over 1 LL though, because of better DPS and less tonnage. Also: SRM6s have horrible spread without artemis. I'd run at least 3 of them at the same time for viable supershotgun. that said, downgrading to SRM4s can have its own benefit. Especially since you can get 3 missile launchers on the 2H you can get the same 12 missiles at a shorter cooldown for the same tonnage as 2x SRM6. Another interesting take on this would be: 20 pinpoint damage + fairly accurate shotgun!
This build definitely looks attractive to me after getting used to SRM6's on my Griffin lately. Artemis version:
I edited my post a bit to reflect my second thoughts. @Solahma: artemis is nice, but imo the DHS should be swapped for armor, or together with something else for an XL300. I'd personally just run SRM4. half the tonnage for 33% less burst (but SRM hit detection gets worse at it has more missiles to calculate anyway in my experience). I really like the second suggested build Subject, thanks for the contribution. I'll be giving both a try certainly. I'll try the 3x SRM4 first so I don't have to purchase artemis yet.
