I think that 2xAC2/1xAC5 and 3xAC2 builds will probably have an easier time reaching into 4 digits because of the increased ammo capacity, but I enjoy the consistency that I find with this loadout.

Came down to me and Skyer vs the BLR. Shoulda had him too, but we were both out of ammo. Only had 1 x MPLas between us :/

Build was this. Needs moar SRMs me thinks...

 

Haha! That was a fun match... I was trying to block shots from the BLR-1S while Dark Lobster shot at it, but I was probably just getting in the way. XD

You were so close to 1000 too. =D I applaud your bravery for using SRMs!

Also, I went down to 14% before I died... WITH AN XL Engine!

WOW, three dudes at +/-1K. That's unusual. Must have been a great Match!

 

It was pretty epic. I thought we had that last Battlemaster until I realised we were both out of ammo. I burned the last of my MG ammo chewing through his armour. What I would have given for one more volley of SRMs going into that fight...

Skyer did an awesome job of keeping him distracted - took him a while to figure out that only one of us was shooting at him . Once he did though, things went south quickly...

Best game I've had in a while!

Damn you guys are BEASTS in this thing!!!

I haven't been able to break 1000 damage in the SHD yet but I can get 6 kills in a match and decent damage...

 

This thing is a beast. Using a modification of Blagg Zear's Skirmisher build.

 

Finally broke 1,000 with the "Vedrfolnir" build! Awesome build. Was using a XL275 for awhile but kept running out of ammo with about 800-900 damage. Finally dropped down to a 255 and added more AC/5 ammo for a total of 180.

 

Dang it, I can't get above 916...

 

Try the "Vedrfolnir" (2x AC5, 1x AC2, 1x JJ, XL255) build. Aim carefully and unload Don't waste ammo on lights, unless you have to. You'll get over 1000 in no time.

My best run in my version of the "Skirmisher" 2h build! I love this thing it's rare that i don't do minimum 400-600dmg, but i was on fire this night! Either way if you see me coming in this thing ....run away. Cause the mech finally lives up to its name..."The PUG Stomper" Also i should give mention to my Lancemates all fellow members of the War Pigs Mercenary Company. www.warpigs.ca


I'm running this with a xl280 and this was my 3rd drop in it...2nd drop in it I did nearly as much damage! AND HAD 6 KILLS! 5 Stars all day!

1165 (guaranteed artillery free), I think it's my highest damage with a SHD.
Done today with 2x UAC/5 + 2x MLas.
