    Hi,

    it seems, for me at least, that none of the smurphy links seems to show up. It only shows the url.

    Yes, this is part of the migration process. The Smurfy Plugin for XenForo is actually just a BBCode call and THAT means we have to go through each and every post with a Smurfy link in it and reparse them. This has been ongoing since yesterday and today and chances are will go on through out the week. You will notice some places (like any of the IS lights) have working smurfy crib cards while others do not.

    We will get there! But thank you for submitting it! :sneaky:

    For those trying to post on their own, here's a quick rundown using a real exapmple, the new format is, using [] instead of my demonstration {} with no spaces because it's BBCode:
    {Media=smurfy}id# | build_code {/media}
    The tall is not i or L, it's the seperation line gotten by Shift \

    So take this guy:

    Where's the important info?
    http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=213&l=b6441b362457304b72bd930afeaa6f8756766021

    So the correct code for this one would be, using []:
    {Media=smurfy}213|b6441b362457304b72bd930afeaa6f8756766021{/media}

    Verifiable by experiment and quoting any thread with a working build display if you're paranoid :rofl:

    Or you could just paste the link into the thread itself, write what you want and click DONE.

    OIC. Auto-generates the code so long as it's a plain-link rather than one of smurfy's other generated lines.

    You win this round, XenoForo.

    We are almost through all the build sections in regards to this. Some builds have been wiped out as they were corrupted on the smurfy end and/or not possible to build anymore however those were one off detections; the primary focus is to get all the smurfy crib sheets displaying again when you click on the links.

    Hopefully this will be complete sometime within the next few days. The team has been working pretty steadily to ensure that this is complete quickly.

    I am working on implementing the sorting code for star ratings too. I have a method of doing it I am just looking for a more ideal one.

    massively annoying. I'm done trying to figure out how to post the smurfy view since none of the above work.

    Post it with an https

    Smurfy is now using a SSL and we are using an SSL so now it requires https I believe for them to show up. Nothing else will show.

    Code:
    https://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=212&l=29f6a7adbc4bb5b56a0de3b24195ffc94b7c230a

    tyty. using an https link automatically changes it to smurfy view.

    Yes, no buttons or crap required. Just post it with an https. I may even see if I can set a word replacement to change http://mwo.smurfy.blahblahblah to https:// but that will be later in the weekend as Citizen Con is on right now.

    I think just posting a small FAQ or a guide on how to post your links would suffice. We are all supposed to be the cream of the crop after all :pompus:

    Am I missing something or don't you just click the tool for "Media", paste your plain link from smurfy and your link gets converted....at least that's what I do?

    You can do that too but you are a pro!!! Your average person wants to just click paste and be done with it.

    This makes me happy :D
    Adding the s in the links isn't really a hassle, but it's closer to adding smurfy tags than simply copy/pasting a link and will probably confuse many people (average persons don't want to read the 'how to post your build' section either).

    It's not always working, though - at least that's my impression. Sometimes it won't fetch the Smurfy media and just show the plain link.

    You have to remove the hyperlink for it to work. There is a broken chain symbol at the top to remove it. Then, if you have the link as https:// it will automatically fetch the media tag. This has so far worked for me 100% when a link somehow would not be recognized.

    Also, if people have hyperlinked things like CN9-A(C) you can right-click, copy link address. Then paste it over the original hyperlink, fix it into a https:// and it will become a cheatsheet too. I have extensively encountered people doing this in the SHD section.

    I've seen this, but I chalk it up to my work using an outdated browser.

    See my post above. This has also been covered in the new FAQ section.

    In my case it has to be the browser. The data shows up fine on my phone.
