I mainly play MWO now days with a good friend of mine, and we love running LRMs a lot on just about any mech that can carry them. We also complain a lot about not being able to depend on teammates to press R and get locks, but then again why should we expect them to? So last week I decided to buy a STK-3H and create a build where I don't have to beg my teammate to maintain locks for me. So here it is. I took two LRM15s over LRM20s because it meant better mobility, more DPS, more ammo, and better equipment. Though, I still run out of ammo sometimes whenever I am having a really good match, which seems to be happening more often with this build. So usually when my friend is also playing I drop the BAP and half ton leg armor for two tons more ammo. I try to stay within a range where I can use all my weapons for that DPS. As long as I stay well aware and don't stray too far I can do a lot of damage. Give it a try!
