I've really been having a Stalker itch lately! I cannot wait to get home and kick this puppy into full gear tonight! (swap ER/LL for whatever range you prefer, just mind your heat) This build is the all-around murderwagon! 3x LLas give you great punch at long range with respectable cooling. (66% when mastered) But the beauty comes in the close range effectiveness. Chainfiring the SRMs means you have an unstopping stream of SRM4 every .5 seconds. 8 damage per half second... Seriously... 16 damage per second... without end... This is the only mech that can chain-fire SRM4 without a stop in the reload time besides a Splat Cat with paper ears holding all weapons or a Kintaro with half the armor. Now add in two MLas and the occasional LLas blast. You're talking 18.5 DPS w/ Mediums and an additional pop of 9 damage to take out that component you just opened as your enemy scrambles to see anything past explosions and shaking screens. Pros: Covers all ranges very well Larger STD for better maneuverability and survivability STALKER FIREPOWER! Cons: Heat becomes an issue if over-zealous at close range Ghost heat if SRMs are not in two groups or chained Stalker Maneuverability There are plenty of 5x energy, 5x SSRM STK-5M builds, however, I do not like my missiles locking onto different skeletal hardpoints. I want to be able to aim these little bastards right down my enemy's open throat! This is my preferred loadout for a brawler with some range. Use only as directed. Contact emergency personnel immediately if burning persists.
Wow what an Alphastrike Damage! Heat could really be a Problem. I would go for a Triplet of ERLLas in the Arms for Sniper Power and maybe trade 1ton of Ammo for a 19th DHS, but really my personal tweak. Your Build is solid. Only the only Sniper Range Weapon in the low CT HP is strange. Put it in the Arm and you can use it for Firing over the ridge. Here is a very similar version with ERLLas :
Honestly Blagg, you're totally right about the LL placement. I just love the look of the three beams from Left/Right/Center.
